CLAUDIO GRANAROLI
Claudio Granaroli was born in Milan in 1939. He graduated in painting from the Accademia di Brera in Milan. His painting, starting from informalist principles, creates evocative fields of lines and tangles of signs on paper and canvas, often in large dimensions, characterized by a feverish chromatic impact and, not infrequently, radical visionary qualities that always provoke interest in those who view them.
Claudio's journey over the years has been a solitary and, in its own way, elitist pursuit that has never abandoned the traditional tools of painting to chase after other trends and opportunities.
